About Me
I am an artist…
I strive to grow and share more of myself each day. From childhood, my family has instilled the highest regard for the both the arts and education in my heart and mind. I trained in dance from a young age at Madison Ballet and spent my high school years at Interlochen Arts Academy. My journey continued to NYC, where I studied at The Ailey School/Fordham University, earning my BFA degree in Dance and a minor in Communications.
My professional dance journey includes: The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Ailey II, Nimbus Dance Works, Evidence Dance Company, The Black Iris Project, Ebony Williams and Company, Brian Harlan Brooks, and Nimbus Dance Works. I have had the honor of acting as a rehearsal assistant for Hope Boykin, Clifton Brown, Earl Mosley, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Pedro Ruiz, Matthew Rushing, and Sylvia Waters.
Since branching out beyond the dance world, I have had unique opportunities in TV, Film, and Broadway industries. I had the pleasure of opening the 73rd Annual Tony Awards, appeared in the TV series, Pose, and the film, In The Heights. I joined the ensemble of My Fair Lady’s 1st National Tour. I recently worked on two short films: Booked and Love On Speed. I also have pursued Acting training at The Freeman Studio, Lesly Kahn Acting Studio, The Kimball Studio, and Lelund Durand Acting Studios.
I have a strong passion for teaching dance— specifically the Lester Horton Technique, Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary styles. I have been blessed to teach nationally and internationally, and lately via online platforms, including Instagram Live and Zoom. I am most inspired when I witness the growth of others!
